Beautiful kitchen in Marylebone London
At last a very simple job! Most of my kitchens are old and have a lot of detail and are damaged, but with this one it was fairly new and had flush panel doors. All the doors were quite small which made painting even easier. After collecting the kitchen and taking it back to my workshop I decided to use wet and dry to sand down the doors as the client wanted a glossy finish. Wet and dry sandpaper really helps to achieve a glass like finish.
“Primer Tinted in All White”
The client chose Farrow & Ball and All White and to achieve the high gloss finish I used Tikkurila intact 40, a quite brilliant product from Finland and by far the best product for kitchens. Before applying two coats of intact 40 I used Otex adhesive primer tinted in All White to help get the deep finish required by the clients. As there wasn’t much carcass to paint with this kitchen, just a few end panels. I decided to refit the kitchen and paint the panels at the same time.
Stage 2: With the kitchen ready for priming I use Otex adhesive primer, really sticks and grips to the woodwork allowing for a good sand down ready for the top coats. Beautiful kitchen in Marylebone London
Stage 3: The client had chosen a 40% sheen level for the finish of the kitchen. I achieved this by using Tikkurila intact 40 – a fantastic product especially designed for kitchens and furniture. bespoke kitchen painter London. I used the same process when returning to hand paint the carcasses. Once the painting process was completed, the furniture was replaced. Leaving the client with a stunning newly finished bespoke kitchen. kitchen cabinet painter London.
